Integers
Absolute value of integers worksheets
Find each integer's distance from zero. Choose one-digit, two-digit, or mixed magnitudes and 12, 16, 20, 24, or 30 questions.
Preview and downloadRead the sign. Understand the value.
Build confidence with positive and negative whole-number values. Start with distance and direction, compare integers, then calculate with signed addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and mixed operations.
Choose a practice sheetBuild integer meaning
Read positive and negative values, connect each sign to a reference point, and use distance, opposites, neighbors, and order to explain what an integer means.

Integers
Find each integer's distance from zero. Choose one-digit, two-digit, or mixed magnitudes and 12, 16, 20, 24, or 30 questions.

Integers
Complete a table with the integers one less and one more than each given value. Choose 12, 16, or 20 rows and one-digit, two-digit, or mixed starting magnitudes.

Translate ten short real-world statements into signed integers. Display quantities as digits, English number words, or a mixture, with sign explanations in the answer key.

Compare signed integers on a number line, then use the separate whole-number ordering activity for place-value practice with nonnegative values.

Comparing numbers
Compare positive or negative integers with <, > or =, using a focused digit width, numbers from 1 to 20, or selected mixed widths.

Comparing numbers
Order four distinct whole numbers in ascending or descending order, recording their digits in a six-column place-value grid.
Preview and downloadCalculate with signs
Move from two-, three-, and four-addend sums to subtraction, multiplication, exact division, and mixed operations. Each linked activity keeps its own controls and defaults.

Addition
Add two one- or two-digit values in equation form using selected positive, negative, or mixed signed addends, with an optional zero-operand setting.

Addition
Combine three selected one- or two-digit signed values in a horizontal equation and use grouping to simplify the work.

Addition
Add four selected one- or two-digit signed values, pairing compatible addends to reduce mental load.

Subtraction
Solve single- or multi-digit subtraction in equation form, including teacher-selected signs and explicit zero inclusion or exclusion.
Preview and download
Multiplication
Multiply one- or two-digit factors in equation form. Practice two positive factors, two negative factors, opposite signs, or independently selected signs.

Division
Divide signed integers exactly using custom facts or a preset divisor-and-quotient magnitude range. The dividend is derived from their product and may have more digits.

Mixed operations
Mix addition, subtraction and multiplication with positive and negative integers, or opt into balanced exact division practice. Choose positive, mixed-sign, or two-negative operands.
Preview and downloadIntegers include negative whole-number values, zero, and positive whole-number values. On a number line, values increase as you move right: −8 is less than −3, and both are less than 2.
Absolute value measures distance from zero. Opposites have the same distance from zero and lie on opposite sides. For example, |−6| = 6 and the opposite of −6 is 6, but the absolute value of 6 is 6 while its opposite is −6.
The five numeric foundation activities use magnitudes from 1–9, 10–99, or both ranges. Neighbor answers can cross zero or a digit boundary. Longer one-digit sheets may repeat given values.
Ordering offers increasing or decreasing order. Greatest and smallest practice asks for one extreme value from a set of four different integers.
Each representation sheet has ten statements with quantities in digits, English number words, or a mixture. Responses are signed integers in every format.
Download ready-made Letter or A4 PDFs, or customize the problem settings, seed, and memo. The preview and downloaded worksheet use the same questions. An optional answer key follows on separate pages. These integer foundation worksheets are in English.
