Privacy at Math Sheet
You can create and download public worksheets without an account. Accounts are intended for teachers, parents, and other adult users.
Worksheet information
Worksheet generators run in your browser. Worksheet settings, including a random seed and an optional page note, can appear in the page URL so you can return to the same set. URLs may be included in hosting access logs and usage measurement. Please do not put personal information in a page note, seed or shared link. The Name, Score, Teacher, and Date lines are blank for you to fill in on paper.
Saved worksheet packets
The packet builder stores saved selections and recent packets in this browser, using local storage. This includes packet names, resource identifiers and order, paper size, edition and update times. It does not store PDF files or sync your selections to an account. You can delete saved packets or clear packet history in the builder; clearing this site’s browser data also removes them. Avoid personal student information in packet names on shared devices.
Packet PDFs are assembled in your browser from the selected public worksheet files. Requests for those files reach our hosting provider; packet names and saved selection metadata are not sent by the packet builder.
Accounts and cookies
If you register, we store your chosen name, email address, a password hash, and the information needed to maintain and protect your login sessions, including session expiry and request metadata. Better Auth provides authentication, and Cloudflare hosts the site and its account database.
Essential cookies keep you signed in. Email verification and password-recovery email are not enabled in this initial release. Keep your password in a safe place. We never display or return your password.
Advertising
Advertising is currently disabled. Signed-in users will receive an ad-free experience when advertising is introduced. Printable worksheets and downloaded PDFs will always be free of ads. This page will be updated before advertising services are introduced.
Usage measurement
Our site diagnostics record a small set of events to understand whether worksheet links and PDF generation work. These events contain an event name and a public page identifier, not your search words, worksheet seed, name, email or an advertising identifier. These diagnostic requests use no analytics cookies and do not send account cookies. Your browser’s Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track setting disables these site diagnostic events.
Site diagnostic events are recorded in Cloudflare operational logs under the hosting service’s retention settings. Ordinary hosting request metadata may also be processed by Cloudflare. These diagnostic counts are approximate and do not identify unique visitors.
We also use Plausible Analytics at plausible.nilni.com to measure page views, file-link clicks and outbound-link clicks. The installed script sends the current page URL, the referring page URL when available, and the destination URL for tracked links. Page URLs can contain worksheet settings, seeds and notes. The script does not read account form fields or set analytics cookies; the analytics service also receives ordinary connection information with requests.
PDF generation success and failure are also sent to Plausible from the same site diagnostic events. These requests contain only the event name, our site domain and the worksheet’s public page URL, without query settings, seeds, notes, search words or a referring URL. They use no account cookies and respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. A success means that PDF generation or packet export completed in the browser, not that a file was saved to your device. Blocked requests may make these counts incomplete.
The Plausible script runs separately from our site diagnostics and does not apply their Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track check. Browser content-blocking tools can prevent it from loading. File-link click counts measure clicks, rather than confirming that a file was saved successfully.
Your choices
You can sign out or delete your account from your account page. Deletion requires your password, or a recent sign-in for accounts using Google. Deleting an account removes its account and session records. Copies of worksheets you have downloaded remain on your device. Cloudflare may retain operational logs and database recovery copies under its own service retention settings.
For details about the hosting provider's processing, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
