Real currency pictures
This separate edition uses photographs of selected U.S. coin designs or official specimen banknote fronts. Choose Real currency images in the customizer to make another set.
Learning objective
Compare money amounts in cents even when the collection with fewer coins has the greater value.
Worked example
26 cents > 25 cents.
The first collection is 25 + 1 = 26 cents. The second is 10 + 10 + 5 = 25 cents. Two coins can therefore be worth more than three coins.
