Currency image credits

Real currency pictures help connect a printed exercise with recognizable money. The reference catalog below records the particular designs pictured; it does not represent every circulating design.

U.S. banknote specimens

The seven front images come from the U.S. Currency Education Program. The supplied specimen markings remain intact. We use one-sided educational illustrations at less than three-quarters of the actual note's linear dimensions in our PDFs, following the currency image-use rules. Print at 100% or actual size; do not enlarge the banknote pictures.

U.S. coin photographs

United States Mint images are credited individually. Other photographers retain their stated Creative Commons licenses. The images are unchanged public 330-pixel thumbnails supplied by Wikimedia Commons, displayed at their original aspect ratios. A front and a back picture are alternative views of one denomination, not two values of that denomination.
