Learning objective
Connect a digit, its place unit and their product, then reverse the representation without changing the value.
Worked example
(3 × 100) + (0 × 10) + (5 × 1)
Each product pairs one digit with the value of its position. The zero-tens product makes the empty middle place visible. In the second part of the worksheet, combine products like these into a numeral.
