Ready-made English PDFs are available in Letter and A4, with student-only and separate-answer options. The image previews show the first page; downloads include every page.
Use the generator to change the available question settings, paper, language, teacher note or seed. Tables offer three or six problems. Equivalent rows let you change order and gaps independently.
Learning objective
Connect counted quantities to ordered ratios and distinguish a part-to-part comparison from a part-to-whole comparison.
Worked example
6:9 = 2:3; 9:15 = 3:5.
There are 15 shapes altogether. Divide both terms of 6:9 by 3 to get 2:3, and both terms of 9:15 by 3 to get 3:5. The second comparison has a different denominator because it refers to the whole.
